Configure your menu sub-items to be always unfolded

Sometimes it could be useful to have your side menu sub items be always visible. This effect is also called unfolded or expanded menu (in a tree like menu context). By default Joomla shows sub-menu items only when the parent menu clicked, which is not always convenient or perhaps not enough Search Engine Friendly for someone.

If you were wondering were this setting can be found, so here where it is. This setting belongs to the menu module rather than to the menu management, since it can be configured in Joomla only per entire menu and not per each item in the menu. 

Go to the "Extensions->Module Manager", then locate the side menu module and click on it to edit. In the "Module Parameters" box on the right find the option "Always show sub-menu Items" and switch it to "Yes".

Here you go, now all the sub-menus will be always unfolded.
